Basketball Recap: Webutuck Takes a Loss

Webutuck lost against Rhinebeck last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Webutuck Warriors came up short against the Rhinebeck Hawks, falling 49-28. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Webutuck's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Rhinebeck, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Webutuck will challenge Millbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Millbrook is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season. As for Rhinebeck, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mount Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Rhinebeck likes a good challenge.
