Recap: Haddonfield Bulldawgs vs. Gloucester City Lions
The Haddonfield Bulldawgs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 28 points or more this season. They took their matchup on the road on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 83-41 victory over Gloucester City. Haddonfield's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jake Smith, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Marcus Flagg was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Haddonfield's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. As for Gloucester City, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haddonfield will take on Woodbury at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gloucester City, they will head out on the road to face off against Sterling at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Sterling is ranked 227th, while Gloucester City is ranked 234th).
