Basketball Recap: Vanoss Takes a Loss

Vanoss was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-33 heartbreaker at the hands of the Quinton Savages. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-33 last Friday.

Vanoss' defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Quinton, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vanoss and Calera will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Quinton has already played their next game (against Sequoyah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
