Football Recap: James Buchanan Keeps Juniata's Under Pressure

James Buchanan lost against Juniata back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rockets fell 19-12 to the Indians. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 507th, while the Indians are ranked 195th).

Although James Buchanan took the loss, they still got scores from Hunter Egli and Anden Mickley.

Even if they lost, James Buchanan's defense still kept up the pressure with 3.5 sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Brock Martin, Shawn Fisher, and Christian Pine, who each picked up one sack apiece.

This is the second loss in a row for James Buchanan and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Juniata, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2.
