Basketball Recap: Summit Academy North Comes Up Short

After flying high against Voyageur Academy last Friday, Summit Academy North came back down to earth. Summit Academy North took a 43-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walled Lake Central Vikings. The matchup marked Summit Academy North's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Summit Academy North fell to 4-1. As for Walled Lake Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Summit Academy North will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Huron on Sunday. Walled Lake Central and Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
