Wayne Hills suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 49-0 loss to Wayne Hills. The Patriots had been ranked fifth, but fell to 40 following the defeat.

Wayne Valley moved up to 38 from 118 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Big North - Colonial. A 50-14 win over Passaic helped the Indians improve their standing.

Bobby Brown provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Northern Highlands fell to Paramus. He completed six passes for 86 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 109 yards. Brown's favorite target this week was Jack Castiglia, who caught four passes for 74 yards.

Brandon Latierno made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Highlanders lost to the Spartans. The 5-foot-8 junior recorded one fumble.

Luke Primerano put up the best numbers through the air as Wayne Valley bested the Indians. He finished with a total of five completions for 88 yards and three touchdowns. Primerano's favorite target this week was Anthony Biondi, who caught two passes for 43 yards.

6-foot-4 quarterback Primerano of the Indians is the league leader in passing yards this season with 241. He has also thrown four touchdowns. On the ground, Northern Highlands' Brown has rushed for 421 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Mohammed Berete. The Teaneck star has 10 catches for 150 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Paramus takes on Teaneck. Dan Sabella's team is in third place, while the Highwaymen are in fifth place.

Wayne Hills took down Tenafly 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Cristian Rodriquez ran for 102 yards and caught one passes for 46 yards in the win.
