Baseball Recap: Shady Side Academy Comes Up Short

Shady Side Academy fell victim to Avonworth and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Antelopes, falling 7-0. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Shady Side Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty McCaskey, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Shady Side Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Avonworth, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shady Side Academy will head out to square off against Steel Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Avonworth, they will take on Plum at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
