Basketball Recap: Chippewa Comes Up Short

Chippewa lost against Central Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chippewa Chipps lost 71-49 to the Central Christian Comets. The Chipps have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chippewa's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Central Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Looking ahead, Chippewa will take on Norwayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Christian, they will square off against Waynedale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waynedale has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight losses, while Central Christian will come in with four straight wins.
