Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

Calvary Christian Academy lost against Flanagan/Woodland back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Knights received a blow as they fell 34-19 to the Falcons. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Kora Edens was the offensive standout of the matchup as she dropped a double-double with 13 points and 18 rebounds. Those 18 boards gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emma Palaschak, who posted 15 points and four steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Calvary Christian Academy fell to 5-1. As for Flanagan/Woodland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Calvary Christian Academy will take on Kankakee Trinity Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Flanagan/Woodland, they will square off against Eureka at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
