Arizona high school football playoffs: Schedule, scores for semifinal weekend

Chandler looks for 35th consecutive victory in Open Division semifinals.

The Arizona high school football playoffs continue this weekend with the semifinal round in the Open Division as well as 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A. Championship games are scheduled for Dec. 11-12 at multiple sites.

In the Open Division, top seed and defending champion Chandler (8-0) looks to extend its win streak to 35 games against Liberty (6-3). The Wolves haven't lost since August 2018.

On the other side of the Open Division bracket is Hamilton (7-1) taking on Salpointe Catholic (7-0), which has won 30 of its last 32 contests going back to 2018.

The 2A semifinals feature a battle of unbeatens as No. 1 seed Benson (8-0) takes on No. 4 Arizona Lutheran Academy (6-0).
