Green Mountain owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They took down the Eaglecrest Raptors 15-0. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Green Mountain found their leader in sophomore Marissa VanGuilder, who picked up 134 receiving yards and one TD.

Green Mountain's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Eaglecrest, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Mountain will square off against Pomona at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eaglecrest, they will face off against Douglas County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
