Volleyball Recap: Northside Takes a Loss

Northside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Etowah Eagles. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15.

Northside's offense was headlined by Aiyanna Rebant and Laila Pope, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Lacie Watts and her eight assists.

Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Northside's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hillgrove at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Etowah, they will take on Lambert at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
