Baseball Game Preview: The Carmel School Wildcats vs. Grace Christian School Kings

For the first time this season, The Carmel School will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Thursday. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Grace Christian School Kings at 4:00 p.m.

After dropping their season opener at home, Grace Christian School is headed out to face a Wildcats squad ready to give their home crowd a win. The Carmel School came up short against Guardian Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 15-1. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Royal Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Grace Christian School got the win against Blue Ridge on Saturday by a conclusive 13-1.

The team relied heavily on Trice Redmon, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Isiah Ignace, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Grace Christian School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Blue Ridge only posted an OBP of .222.
