Recap: Mount Si Wildcats vs. North Creek Jaguars
In what's become a running theme this season, the Mount Si Wildcats gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past North Creek 93-48 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Mount Si who now have six in a row.
Trevor Hennig continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 4-for-5 from deep and dropping a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Blake Forrest, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 assists.
Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Silas Woodward, who scored 11 points. Romen Jackson was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Mount Si is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for North Creek, they bumped their record down to 8-6 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Si will challenge Skyline at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Skyline's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for North Creek, they will head out on the road to square off against Eastlake at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Eastlake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Monday.
