Hood made his presence known in North Central's 7-6 defeat
While North Central might've come up empty on Wednesday, Patton Hood wasn't going down without a fight. Hood turned in nothing short of a gem: he struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk).
Hood and North Central are on the road again on Tuesday to play Lewisville at 6:30 p.m. North Central has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since March of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
