Enterprise and Beaver are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Wolves will welcome the Beavers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Enterprise has given up an average of 8.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Kanab hit Enterprise with a eight-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolves came up short against the Cowboys, falling 14-4. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Enterprise saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Javin Randall, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Beaver came out on top against Milford on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run sixth inning. The Beavers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 11-1 win. The Beavers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.
Davin Orton and Tyge Blomquist made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Orton pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Meanwhile, Blomquist tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. At the plate, Orton went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Blomquist got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Ki Anzalone was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Sam Smith, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Beaver's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Enterprise, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
Enterprise came up short against Beaver when the teams last played back in May of 2025, falling 3-0. Will the Wolves have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
