Volleyball Recap: Borger Comes Up Short

Borger had lost nine straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 8-16 to make it ten. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hereford Whitefaces. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Whitefaces from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

As for Hereford, the win got them back to even at 14-14. The victory was some much needed relief for they as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Leading Hereford to victory were Kyndall Valdez and Kaydence Ramirez. Valdez had 17 digs and two aces, while Ramirez had 14 digs.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Borger will square off against rival Canyon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Hereford is set to challenge their familiar foe Perryton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
