Soccer Recap: Wickliffe Takes a Loss

Wickliffe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Euclid Panthers. Wickliffe were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Euclid apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Wickliffe's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Euclid, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Wickliffe will be taking part in a tournament against Waynedale at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Euclid, they will face off against Strongsville at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Strongsville will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Euclid surely won't give up without a fight.
