Volleyball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

Delta lost against Palisade back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Delta Panthers came up short against the Palisade Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-19.

Aadrey Fraser paced Delta's offense, picking up eight kills. Fraser got some help from Lola Mitchell and her 19 assists. Finally, Fraser was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Palisade can attribute much of their success to Elizabeth Snover, who had six digs and five aces.

Delta's loss dropped their record down to 11-12. As for Palisade, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.

As of now, neither Delta nor Palisade have any future games scheduled.
