Evangel Christian Academy came out on top against Haughton on Friday thanks in part to Demarkus Evans's efforts. Evans picked up 119 receiving yards and three scores, which was good enough to set a new career-high in receiving touchdowns.

Coming up, Evans and Evangel Christian Academy will head out to face off against Lafayette Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will pit Evans up against the Knights' star WR Brayden Allen. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game.
