Game recap: Trinity Catholic High School Football Team takes down Fort White

FORT WHITE, Fla. - Trinity Catholic (Ocala, Fla.) saw its 21-point lead dwindle to two, but still managed to hang on and defeat Fort White (Fla.) 21-19 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Reid Carlton touchdown pass to Camerhon Guyton in the first quarter, the Celtics led 14-0 at the half.

Each side put up seven points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at 14.

With the win Trinity Catholic extended its winning streak to five games. TC defeated the Tornadoes 32-0 last week.

Carlton played well for the Ocala school in the victory. The junior quarterback threw three touchdowns. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.



The Indians' Andrew Baker played well. The junior quarterback threw one touchdown. He has now scored two touchdowns on the season.

The Celtics also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 49-14.

In a non-conference game next week Fort White (5-4) takes on Santa Fe, and Trinity Catholic (7-2) will go up against Palmetto also in a non-conference game.
