American Prep WV came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Merit Preparatory Academy Knights 3-0. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: American Prep WV took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-14.

American Prep WV's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Merit Preparatory Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
