Volleyball Recap: Ladysmith Comes Up Short on the Road Against Wabeno/Laona

Ladysmith had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Wabeno/Laona Rebels on Wednesday.

Ladysmith might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Wabeno/Laona: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22.

Leading Wabeno/Laona to victory were Lily Terry and Izzy Popp. Terry had 14 kills and one block, while Popp had six kills, three digs, two blocks, and two aces.

Ladysmith has already played their next match (against Wabeno), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wabeno/Laona, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau on the 27th.
