Softball Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

MacArthur and Burbank squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but MacArthur had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Brahmas have suffered since March 19th.

Sienna Richmond made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Miranda Lerma, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

MacArthur's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-13-1. As for Burbank, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

MacArthur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Burbank has already played their next match (against Rouse), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
