Sinton is 9-1 against Calhoun since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pirates will be playing at home against the Sandcrabs at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Sinton's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five games.

Julian Suarez and Dylan Arriaga made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Suarez tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Arriaga pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Suarez has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. At bat, Suarez went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double, while Arriaga went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Augie Castillo, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Connor Davis was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Sinton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cornerstone Christian only managed four.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Calhoun, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Rockport-Fulton on Friday, sneaking past 5-4. The win continues a trend for the Sandcrabs in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won four in a row.
Calhoun saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cayson Laredo, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI. Another was Tanner Amerson, who earned one RBI and two runs.
Sinton's victory bumped their record up to 17-6-1. As for Calhoun, they now have a winning record of 13-12-3.
Calhoun's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Sinton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .352.
