Soccer Game Preview: West Cabarrus vs. Berry + How To Watch

The West Cabarrus Wolverines will take on the Berry Cardinals at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Cabarrus has 17 straight victories, Berry has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

West Cabarrus had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Mallard Creek on Monday. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Mavericks. The result was nothing new for West Cabarrus, who have now won nine matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Berry managed to keep up with A.L. Brown until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cardinals came up short against the Wonders, falling 3-0.

Berry's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for West Cabarrus, their win bumped their record up to 18-1.

Everything went West Cabarrus' way against Berry in their previous matchup back in September, as West Cabarrus made off with a 4-0 victory. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
