Baseball Recap: FAMU DRS Victorious

FAMU DRS's game back in February was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 19-14 victory over the Crossroad Academy Scorpions. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Baby Rattlers considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

FAMU DRS' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Crossroad Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. FAMU DRS will venture away from home to challenge Jefferson County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. FAMU DRS has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Crossroad Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Gadsden County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
