Volleyball Recap: Salmon River's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Salmon River waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Tri-Valley Titans with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory back in September.

One reason for the win was Salmon River's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-23, 25-10.

Salmon River's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Tri-Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Salmon River will take on rival Greenleaf Friends Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Tri-Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Horseshoe Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
