Soccer Game Preview: Kirtland vs. Chagrin Falls

The Kirtland Hornets are taking a road trip to challenge the Chagrin Falls Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Kirtland fell victim to Fairview and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Warriors.

Despite a strong season so far, Chagrin Falls has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against Bay on Saturday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Chagrin Falls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Bay are ranked 12th).

Chagrin Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Kirtland, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-3.
