Volleyball Game Preview: Veritas Prep Charter vs. Monument Mountain Spartans

Veritas Prep Charter are taking a road trip to square off against the Monument Mountain Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Veritas Prep Charter turned things around against Mount Everett Regional on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-7, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Monument Mountain made easy work of Libertas Academy Charter on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Veritas Prep Charter's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Monument Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Veritas Prep Charter took their win against Monument Mountain when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Veritas Prep Charter since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
