Soccer Recap: Basehor-Linwood Takes a Loss

Basehor-Linwood was the 3-1 winner over Leavenworth when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats fell just short of the PIONEERS by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Basehor-Linwood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Leavenworth, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7-1.

Looking ahead, Basehor-Linwood will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Louisburg. Louisburg will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Basehor-Linwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Leavenworth, they are taking a road trip to square off against Baldwin on Tuesday. Leavenworth will be up against Baldwin's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
