Knox City has gone 8-0 against Chillicothe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Knox City Greyhounds will face off against the Chillicothe Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Knox City was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 45-40 to Woodson. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Chillicothe played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Guthrie, falling 69-18. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Chillicothe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Knox City, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-3.

Knox City took their win against Chillicothe in their previous meeting back in February of 2020 by a conclusive 52-29. Will Knox City repeat their success, or does Chillicothe have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
