Volleyball Recap: Highlands Ranch Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Highlands Ranch lost against Ponderosa back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Simone Zink paced Highlands Ranch's offense, picking up five kills. Zink were helped by Bria Torres and Ezra McGinnis, who contributed seven assists each. Maggie Weiss and Ava Buckley kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Ponderosa was led to victory by Jocelyn Krieger and Kylie Paul. Krieger had nine digs, while Paul had three digs and three aces.

Highlands Ranch now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ponderosa, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Highlands Ranch has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Fairview on the 29th. As for Ponderosa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Dakota Ridge on the 30th.
