Hillsboro entered their tilt with Larned on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 28-16 win over the Larned Indians. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Hillsboro's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for Larned, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Hillsboro and Larned could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Hillsboro (ranked 55th) will meet Halstead (ranked eighth) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Larned will face off against Hesston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 118 places (120 vs. 2).
