Softball Recap: Weston Comes Up Short

If Weston was feeling good fresh off their 13-0 takedown of North Crawford on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Silver Eagles lost 12-1 to the Ithaca Bulldogs on Thursday. The Silver Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Weston's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Ithaca, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Weston is set to face off against their familiar foe Seneca at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ithaca will challenge rival North Crawford at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
