Basketball Recap: Bishop Kearney Comes Up Short

Bishop Kearney was the 67-49 winner over Bishop Ludden when they last played one another back in January of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Bishop Kearney Kings had to suffer through an 83-47 loss at the hands of the Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights. While losing is never fun, the Kings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 466th, while the Gaelic Knights are ranked 13th).

Bishop Kearney's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Bishop Ludden, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-3.

Looking ahead, Bishop Kearney will head out on the road to face off against Rochester Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Ludden, they will challenge Christian Brothers Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
