Football Recap: Arickaree Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Arickaree was feeling good fresh off their 45-6 takedown of Prairie last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bison took a 36-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Otis Bulldogs on Friday. The Bison lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 69-12 score last time.

Despite the loss, Arickaree still got an impressive performance from Austin Wright, who rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 84 yards and one TD. Wright really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.

Arickaree's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Otis, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Arickaree will square off against rival Stratton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Otis is set to challenge their familiar foe Genoa-Hugo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
