Alleghany's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Radford, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Alleghany took their win against Radford when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
