With a playoff win on the line, Sacred Heart Academy rose to the challenge on Sunday. They walked away with a 57-47 victory over the Southington Blue Knights. Winning may never get old, but Sacred Heart Academy sure is getting used to it with their 13th in a row.

Hannah Blanchard and Lily Cooper certainly did their best on Sunday to avoid the loss. Blanchard dropped a double-double with ten points and 13 rebounds, while Cooper posted 14 points along with six assists and five boards. Blanchard has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Nerea Maule, who had six points and three steals.

Sacred Heart Academy's win bumped their record up to 22-1. As for Southington, they moved to 26-2 with that defeat, which also ended their 21-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Sacred Heart Academy nor Southington have any future games scheduled.
