Volleyball Recap: Cedar Springs Takes a Loss

The Cedar Springs Red Hawks came up short against the Hopkins Vikings on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Cedar Springs ultimately came up short, they really made Hopkins work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 29-27.

Taylor Gunderson paced Cedar Springs' offense, picking up ten kills. Gunderson got some help from Jessie Teesdale and her 11 assists.

Cedar Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-15-3. As for Hopkins, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10-2.

Coincidentally, Cedar Springs and Hopkins will both be playing Otsego the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Red Hawks will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
