Softball Recap: Santa Fe Christian Triumphs

Santa Fe Christian won the last time they faced Liberty Charter and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles walked away with a 10-6 win over the Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Maya Tyszkiewicz and Maddie Binnie did most of the damage at the plate: Tyszkiewicz scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4, while Binnie scored a run and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Tyszkiewicz has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hannah Muscat, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Santa Fe Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The victory got Santa Fe Christian back to even at 5-5. As for Liberty Charter, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.
