Preview: Imani Christian Academy Saints vs. Ligonier Valley Rams
Imani Christian Academy is 0-1 against Ligonier Valley since October of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Imani Christian Academy Saints will head out on the road to face off against the Ligonier Valley Rams at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Imani Christian Academy has three straight wins, Ligonier Valley has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, Imani Christian Academy humbled Derry with a 45-7 victory. The result was nothing new for Imani Christian Academy, who have now won five games by 27 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Ligonier Valley fell victim to Serra Catholic's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 47-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.
Imani Christian Academy's win lifted them to 5-2 while Ligonier Valley's defeat dropped them down to 2-6.
Imani Christian Academy was taken down by Ligonier Valley 42-7 in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Can Imani Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
