Nevada Union had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Davis Sr. Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 victory. For the Miners, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Blue Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Rhyder Eelkema paced Nevada Union's offense, picking up six kills. Eelkema were helped by Kody Cornish and AJ Jennings, who contributed six assists each. Connor O'Callaghan controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

When it comes to explaining why Davis Sr. lost, don't look at Ryan Buzbee. Despite the final result, he had 11 digs. Buzbee has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times he's played.

Nevada Union's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Davis Sr., this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
