Baseball Recap: West Springfield Beats West Potomac for Their Third Straight Victory

West Springfield had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt West Potomac on Wednesday. The Spartans blew past the Wolverines 10-2. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was West Springfield's third in a row) raised their record to 16-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for West Potomac, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
