After a string of five wins, Espanola Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 45-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes. The Sundevils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Elks/Elkettes earlier this season, when they won 50-39.

Espanola Valley's loss dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Pojoaque Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Espanola Valley nor Pojoaque Valley have any future games scheduled.
