Softball Recap: Herscher Tigers vs. Coal City Coalers
Herscher extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 12-8 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coal City Coalers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coalers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-15 on Monday.

Liv Wilkins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
