Soccer Recap: Sun Valley Magnet Takes a Loss

Sun Valley Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sylmar Spartans. That's two games in a row now that the Pioneers have lost by exactly two goals.

Sun Valley Magnet's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-3. As for Sylmar, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2-1.

Sun Valley Magnet and Chatsworth will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sylmar, they will be taking part in a tournament against Bishop Alemany at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
