Shawn Davis Dazzles in East Duplin Victory

Starting off the list is East Duplin's Shawn Davis, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Davis rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August.

Unfortunately for South Lenoir, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Davis. Davis rushed for 104 yards the last time he and the Blue Devils duked it out back in October of 2023.

James Kenan Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Jeremiah Hall

James Kenan picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jeremiah Hall. Hall rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

James Kenan pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Hall and James Kenan will look to defend their home field on Friday against Southwest Onslow at 7:00 p.m.

Another Game with at Least 110 Rushing Yards from Jamarae Lamb

Jamarae Lamb continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fourth-straight game with at least 110 rushing yards. He rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 68 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards.

Lamb might have his next game, a home matchup with East Duplin, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Lamb saw the Panthers), he rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.
