Trey Pearson, Pope John Paul II's leader in steals on the season, led the team again on Friday. Pearson made a splash, going 8 of 18 on his way to 22 points and four steals. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Ensworth back in January of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Pearson and Pope John Paul II will host Lipscomb Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. The Knights had to take a loss when they last met the Mustangs, but Pearson had little to do with the loss: he posted six points in addition to nine rebounds and six assists.
