Cuba entered their tilt with Grandview on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-9, 24-26, 25-12.

Cuba was led to victory by Brooke Echols and Allison Heads. Echols had 12 digs and three aces, while Heads had 12 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Heads has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Cuba was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grandview only served seven.

Cuba's victory bumped their record up to 12-7-1. As for Grandview, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Cuba has already played their next match (against North Callaway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Grandview, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Herculaneum on the 13th.
